Position Overview 🔒

Join Konnect as a Cybersecurity Intern, where you will play a key role in safeguarding our digital payment ecosystem. Reporting to our Head of Security, you'll contribute to implementing and maintaining security controls and threat detection systems. This internship will provide hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, security monitoring, and compliance management within a fintech environment.

• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across our applications and infrastructure.

• Help monitor security systems and respond to security incidents and alerts.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

• Participate in risk assessments and help document security findings and recommendations.

• Assist in implementing security controls to protect sensitive financial data.

• Support security awareness training for employees to promote a security-first culture.

• Help maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and security standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

• Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the fintech industry.

Preferred Experience 🔮

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern who is passionate about cybersecurity and data protection. You:

• Have experience or coursework in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical fields.

• Are familiar with security testing methodologies and security control frameworks.

• Have a solid understanding of network security, web application security, and cryptography basics.

• Are comfortable with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Have strong analytical skills and a security-focused mindset.

• Speak French and English fluently.

Hiring Process ⏱️

Here's what to expect:

1. Initial Call: 30-minute video interview with our Talent Acquisition and a security team member.

2. Technical Challenge: A security assessment exercise or case study (1/2 day to complete, followed by a 1-hour review session).

3. Team Fit Interview: Meet your future peers (Head of Security / Security Lead).

4. Final Interview: Discussion with our HR Manager and our CEO.
